PARETO CHART
Pareto Chart - A vertical bar graph showing the bars in order to
size from left to right. Pareto charts are expressions of the Pareto
Principle. The principle suggests that the significant items in
a given group normally constitute a relatively small portion of
the total items in the group. Conversely, a majority of the items
in the total will, even in aggregate, be relatively minor in significance,
(i.e. the 80/20 rule). Pareto charts help us focus on the vital
few problems rather than the trivial many.
