POLICY DEPLOYMENT

Policy-Deployment -- A strategic decision-making tool for a firm's executive team that focuses resources on the critical initiatives necessary to accomplish the business objectives of the firm. By using visual matrix diagrams similar to those employed for quality function deployment, three to five key objectives are selected while all others are clearly deselected. The selected objectives are translated into specific projects and deployed down to the implementation level in the firm. Policy Deployment unifies and aligns resources and establishes clearly measurable targets against which progress toward the key objectives is measured on a regular basis.
